Alex Telles is a Brazilian professional footballer who currently plays as a central defender for English club Manchester United and the Brazil national team.

Born on February 11, 1995, in São Paulo, Brazil, Alex Telles began his career with local side Santos before joining Flamengo in 2016. He made his senior debut for the latter in 2017 and quickly established himself as one of the most promising young defenders in South America.

In the summer of 2018, Telles moved to Europe, signing a five-year contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid. Despite being a regular starter at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, he struggled to establish himself in the starting lineup due to competition from experienced players such as Sergio Ramos and Nacho Pepe.
